I'm thinking about buying Blackview R7 and I wonder, will there be an Android 7.0 Nougat rom released for it?

Hi

Is there any chance of an update for the R7 I bought this phone because I like blackview products but I am left deeply disappointed. There are software issues, is weak wifi, poor camera.

Thanks Paul

There are errors in the android 6.0 software

1.Wifi weak attracts
2.2g-3g-4g network very weak
3.Radio headphones low volume sound output
4.Speaking earpiece sounds low sound gives low
5.Sending errors to programs example WhatsApp sending image is closing error
6.When listening to radio music, the sound is suddenly reduced by 50%

Please request new immediate update of admin

We are all waiting for an update, but it seems that BlackView Administrators do not give a damn about us, consumers - they just launch a new product and let it go, without much support. "You bough it, now it's your problem" must be their line of thought.

R7 was a FLAGSHIP product! So, I bought it because it was supposed to be a great product! Now, I realized I was fooled by Blackview. So many problems that could be fixed with the update to Android 7.0, that would also make their customers happy, but they do not care.

Some things I am always having problem with R7, in this 6.0 version of Android:

1 - WiFi reception is VERY, VERY WEAK. You almost have to be in the same room of your WiFi router to receive the signal, otherwise it will not connect. I used to have a Samsung Galaxy SIII (that was changed for this R7 - my mistake...) that could receive my WiFi connection really far away, much more than I can with R7.

2 - 4G is not working. It is IMPOSSIBLE to receive (and I do have 4G network present in my surrounding area).

3 - Sound through headphones is VERY LOW, specially when you are listening to the radio, through headphones.

4 - I set the "Language" to English, but it always goes back to Portuguese after a few hours, maybe because I live in Brazil. But I still want the menus in English, not in any other language. It is very bothersome.

5 - The user profiles are always changing. I set it to "General" but it always goes to "Meeting", without any access to the profiles and I cannot receive the calls, because there is no sound when they arrive.

6 - A nice to have function would be the possibility of taking "Macro" photos, as most of the phones around have.

So, why not update the Android version to 7.0, that would make almost all customers happy, and, in this process, correct the problems we are facing with the present configuration? It would be a nice move!

Thanks for this interesting comment and congratulations!!!
This is how customer requirements are handled. Well, then my editorial office, my family and, of course, me in Persona will make a big bow around Blackview products to buy other great products of Chinese companies.
